Synopsis

This differentiated lesson explores the importance of the ocean to life on Earth and its fundamental role in regulating our climate through imagery, artwork, and discussions.  Students will learn about how we are connected to the ocean, how we rely on the ocean, and how we affect the ocean through "the 7 things absolutely everyone should know about the ocean," called the Ocean Literacy Principles.
